Job Description: Govt. job vacancies for Technical Experts, United Nations Development Program recruitment

United Nations Development Program invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Technical Experts to assist Chief Election Officers in 8 States in India.

The application deadline is 9th March 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

1. You must be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences, IT, Development Communication or any related disciplines

2. Additional qualification in electoral management/administration, development studies or management is an advantage.

Experience

1 .You should have minimum 7 years relevant professional experience in the field of ICTD, research, reporting and documentation.

2. You should have good knowledge and experience of social media, understanding of issues pertaining to democratic governance, electoral management and public policy.

3. You should have experience in applying a Rights based approach to development programming and electoral process.

4. Prior experience with Government agencies will be an advantage.
