JOB REQUIREMENTS: We have an exciting opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to repair Rail Cars.
Duties will include: Diagnose, adjust, trouble shoot, repair, &/or overhaul railroad cars.
The company will provide training for the right person with the right attitude and willingness/ability to learn a new skill.
Will drive a forklift, weld, torch, grind and use other hand tools.
***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Be comfortable working at heights of up to 15 ft. Must be mechanically inclined - prefer some experience with mechanics &/or shop classes.
Must have a proven work record and a willingness to work hard and the ability to learn new duties. Must be detail oriented, be a self starter, able to work with minimum supervision, and be extremely safety oriented.
Must have reliable transportation - preferably with a valid driver's license.
